Revenge On An Ex

Okay, I posted on Facebook this Title: "#Random Question: Is revenge on an ex necessary? Okay fam, let's say you dated someone and you two mingle here and there; you two parted on not so good terms, do you think it's right as revenge to lead that person on saying you forgave them and then give notion towards working things out, knowing that you have someone else you plan on being with?"

I had several answers on my profile about this, and it was nice to get the opinion of others sense revenge has been a well taught tactic amongst our society. Throughout the years there has been revenge such as slashing tires, bursting windows out of cars, bleaching clothes, more notably burning ones property (Movie: Waiting to Exhale and RIP Left eye). However, there seems to be more of an emotional deviant way to get revenge on someone. People are now learning to play mind games on their exes and thrive off of playing the "I Love You" game with the intent to persuade the other that a relationship is possible knowing that it isn't. This type of revenge could be the most deviant one of them all, because this is not destroying materialistic things, but destroying the self of one's inner being. This post here is to open the eyes of those who are still mingling with exes in a hope to re-kindle a romance that has died and perhaps shouldn't be brought back to life in the first place. Revenge isn't a good way to make you feel better about a situation. When it comes to the exes, it's best to let Karma prevail and leave the hoopla alone. "Revenge is mine, thus, said the Lord." People try too hard to play God. I am a strong believer based on my experiences w/ being the good doer and the evil doer that revenge ends up being a cycle and just how you reciprocate ones actions, it'll come back to you tenfold.
